Driver pronounced dead after car rolls, crashes into Mariemont home
Police are working to figure out what caused the fatal crash.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police have identified the 78-year-old driver who died after rolling her vehicle into a Mariemont home Monday afternoon.

Maureen Dufour, of Cincinnati, was driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla southbound on Miami Road when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road, down an embankment, and into a residence, according to authorities. The collision happened around 2 p.m. near Rowan Hill Drive.

Dufour was pronounced dead at the scene. No one was home at the time of the crash.

Authorities say the driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident and drugs/alcohol are not believed to be factors.

Police are working to figure out what caused the fatal crash.
