CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Artist Jonny Castro often does portraits of police officers killed in the line of duty. He decided to honor fallen Colerain police Officer Dale Woods when he heard his story.
Castro wrote on Facebook when posting the portrait, detailing how Woods was moving traffic control devices at the scene of a crash when he was struck by an oncoming pickup truck. Woods was taken to the hospital where he fought hard for three days before eventually succumbing to his injuries.
Castro sat down with Rob Williams this week for the Rob Williams Anytime podcast to discuss the portrait:
Details for Woods' services have been set.
