Drier Weather Ahead

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -The snow has ended across the tri-state and all warnings and advisories have expired.

Many areas across northern Kentucky saw no snow at all, while random areas to the north saw as much as ten inches. The area-wide average snowfall was 6.2 inches.

Behind this system high pressure will build in and provide drier conditions and slowly moderating temperatures.

Expect to start Monday morning in the low to mid 20s, with afternoon high temps in the low to mid 30s under variably cloudy skies.

With snow pack and clearer skies overnight Monday, Tuesday will begin on a rather cold note in the mid to upper teens. Expect mid 30s Tuesday afternoon under partly cloudy skies.

Clouds return mid-week with a chance for rain and snow on Thursday.

Better chances for winter mixed precipitation occur on Saturday with much colder air to settle in for Sunday.
