Melting snow and lingering melt water will re-freeze and present problems for the commute with a special eye on bridges and ramps. This morning our temperatures are in the low to mid 20s, with afternoon high temps near 30 degrees under variably cloudy skies.
We do quite down the next few days after a weekend area-wide average snowfall of 6.2 inches. With snow pack and clearer skies overnight Monday, Tuesday will begin on a rather cold note in the mid to upper teens. Expect mid 30s Tuesday afternoon under partly cloudy skies.
Clouds return mid-week with a chance for rain and snow on Thursday. Better chances for winter mixed precipitation occur on Saturday with much colder air to settle in for Sunday.
