CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be FOX19 NOW First Alert Weather Days.
The weather roller coaster will bring a wintry mix of snow and rain for Thursday’s morning commute.
It may begin a mix of sleet, rain and snow before changing to all rain during the day.
5 a.m. - Rain, snow and ice mix will begin moving into the Northwest portion of the Tri-State.
7 a.m. - The mix will begin spreading across the central part of the Tri-State.
8 a.m. - Temps close to freezing. The roads will be mainly wet with icy patches possible across the Tri-State.
12 p.m. - The mix will begin exiting to the north and rain will stick around for the remainder of the day.
Another wintry mix will hit late Friday night into early Saturday morning.
By noon Saturday, rain will return to the FOX19 NOW viewing area - and it could mix with freezing rain and snow by late evening.
Temperatures will plummet overnight as rain changes to snow.
Winds will pick up, but accumulation is not expected to be great, though visibility will be reduced.
The quick drop in temperature could result in icy roads, driveways and other surfaces when you wake up Sunday morning.
Sunday will be windy and bitterly cold with a high temperature near 18 degrees.
The low will bottom out below zero by daybreak Monday with subzero wind chills.
