CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Butler County deputy was suspended for two weeks after co-workers said he made inappropriate comments to them, according to Sheriff Richard Jones.
Jones said a lengthy internal investigation was conducted on Sergeant Jeff Gebhart following allegations of inappropriate behavior and violations of the workplace harassment policy.
Gebhart is also required to attend remedial training and signed a last chance agreement calling for his immediate termination for any violation of their sexual harassment policy.
“We take these incidents very serious. While the Sergeant admitted the allegations were true, he stated he did not intend to offend any of the employees and understands how some were affected.” Jones said in a news release.
