Police: Man stabbed in eye runs to UDF to call 911

WALNUT HILLS, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati police are investigating a stabbing overnight in Walnut Hills.

They found a man stabbed in the eye when they responded to a 911 call in the 2900 block of Victory Parkway at 12:15 a.m. Thursday.

He told them he confronted a group of people smoking crack in the hallway of his apartment building and one of them - a woman - stabbed him, according to police.

The victim does not have a phone, so police said he ran across the street to a United Dairy Farmers store for help.

The victim was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he is expected to recover, according to police.

The female suspect was not on scene when officers arrived.

Her description was not immediately available.
