CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Overnight, Tri-State residents may see a few flurries but they will be light and not a problem.

On Tuesday, after peeks of morning sunshine, clouds will increase again. During evening, after 7 p.m., a mix of snow and freezing rain will arrive in the FOX19 NOW viewing area. A couple inches of wet snow will accumulate during evening then overnight it will change to freezing rain only.

For several hours during the overnight there could be icy driving, ice accumulations on power lines and branches, and by the morning commute all the precipitation will change to rain.

Winter isn't giving up

Most of or all the snow will melt and there may be some lingering icy patches. THE ONLY EXCEPTIONS WILL BE THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES, where ice and snow may make the morning commute a very slow to dangerous affair: FAYETTE, UNION, FRANKLIN, BUTLER, WARREN, CLINTON AND HIGHLAND.

During the day Wednesday all precipitation will fall as rain. Some of it will be heavy with small stream flooding a possibility.
