LEXINGTON, KY (FOX19) - The Ryle high school girls basketball team defeated Southwestern 63-48 on Sunday to win their first ever KHSAA state basketball championship.

Brie Crittendon scored a game-high 21 points for the Lady Raiders. Jaiden Douthit added 17 points and Madie Scherr tossed in nine points and 13 rebounds.

Ryle cruised through the postseason winning every single game by double digits.
