CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - It’s game night on Saturday night at Nippert Stadium as FC Cincinnati tries to take over first place in Major League Soccer.

The bigger talker is the weather, but the team’s head coach says Saturday’s rain will not bother his team.

If the weekend breaks right, FC Cincinnati could be a first place team in its first month in MLS.

As of Saturday, the team is tied with DC United and Columbus for the second-most points in the Eastern Conference.

“We haven’t proven anything yet, but I think how people perceived us after Seattle and now is different,” said coach Alan Koch. “We’re not going to be an easy game.”

There is a buzz that the club’s first round draft pick could make his MLS debut this weekend.
