CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Major League Baseball’s public relations staff announced the punishments for the Reds and Pirates involved in Sunday’s on-field brawl Tuesday afternoon.

Yasiel Puig, Reds Skipper David Bell and Pirates Pitcher Chris Archer all received suspensions.

Puig is suspended two games with Bell getting a one game suspension.

Archer received a five game suspension -- that’s one start in the pitching rotation.

All players can appeal their punishment.

Sunday’s bench-clearing brawl began during the top of the fourth inning at PNC Park in Pittsburgh when pitcher Chris Archer intentionally threw at Derek Dietrich.

Puig, now infamously, rushed the field and appeared to take on the entire Pirates team in defense of his teammate.

All three received undisclosed fines as well.
