OXFORD, OH (FOX19) - Miami University Athletics Department is on the hunt for a new women’s basketball coach.

Now-former head coach Megan Duffy had been with the RedHawks since 2017 and led them to back-to-back 20 win seasons.

She also coached the team to an overall 44-20 overall record and a 25-11 record in the Mid-American Conference.

The school says Duffy accepted a head coaching position at Marquette.

“I’m excited about the foundation we have built with our women’s basketball program over the past two seasons,” Director of Athletics David Sayler said. “The success our outstanding student-athletes have shown on and off the court makes this a very attractive job.”

They say a national search will begin immediately.
