Today, high pressure will move off to the east. By the late evening, a weak warm front will lift into the region and spark up a few showers that will linger into the first part of the overnight. Daytime highs will reach 90 degrees.
This weekend, watch for more unsettled air leading to showers and thunderstorms. They will develop during the afternoon on Saturday and linger into Sunday. High temperatures on both days will be in the mid to upper 80s. Scattered chances for showers will continue on Labor Day.
