MÖTLEY CRÜE TO PERFORM ON SEASON FINALE OF HIT FOX TV SHOW, BONES
Los Angeles, CA (04.22.09) --- Mötley Crüe will make a special guest appearance on the season finale of the hit FOX TV show, Bones on May 14 (8:00 p.m. ET/PT) performing their hit song "Dr. Feelgood." Mötley Crüe is known for their large-scale arena shows, but the performance on Bones gives fans a chance to see the band in a setting reminiscent of their early days in the clubs on the Sunset Strip.
Marking the 20th Anniversary of their first #1 album, this summer, Mötley Crüe embarks on Crüe Fest 2, performing the album Dr. Feelgood, from beginning to end each night of the tour along with hits from the rest of their catalog. Last summer, Crüe Fest was the most successful Rock festival of the season (according to Rolling Stone) and the accompanying DVD recently debuted at #1 on Billboard. Dr. Feelgood will also be re-released as a special 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition on May 26, 2009.
Currently in its fourth season, Bones has built an average audience of 11.3 million viewers, ranks among the top programs for the 2008-09 season in Adults 18-49 and all key demos and is one of the highest ranked dramatic series on Thursday evenings. The show is based on forensics and police procedurals in which each episode focuses on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth, played by David Boreanaz, to the forensic anthropology team lead by Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan, played by Emily Deschanel.
