Avondale (FOX19)-- Traffic Units were on the scene after a pedestrian was struck in Avondale Friday evening.
Police say that 46-year-old Brenda Grissom was crossing William Howard Taft Road, when she was truck by a vehicle going west.
After hitting Grissom, the vehicle fled the scene. she was taken to University Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
The hit skip vehicle is described as a smaller type SUV similar to a Kia Sportage or GEO Tracker. it is a dark green color and should have front end damage.
Police ask that any witnesses or those who have information about the hit skip driver or vehicle call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
