HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A new trial date was set Monday for Dr. Scott Blankenburg, the Butler County doctor who faces numerous sex and drug charges.
Trial was originally supposed to begin this week, but was postponed after attorneys for both sides asked for more time to prepare their cases. It is now set for April 19.
Dr. Blankenburg and his twin brother, Mark, are accused of sexually assaulting young patients and then paying them with drugs and money to be quiet.
Dr. Mark Blankenburg's trial is still scheduled for October.
