BRUNSWICK, GA (WTOC) - The 911 tapes have been released after eight people were killed at the New Hope Plantation Mobile Home Park in Brunswick.
On the call, a very emotional 22-year-old Guy Heinze Jr., says he found the victims when he came home Saturday morning.
"I just got home and my whole family is dead," he frantically tells the 911 operator. "I just got home, I was out last night, I got home just now and my family's dead."
He says he came home Saturday morning and said it looks like the victims were beaten to death.
Seven people were found dead inside the mobile home Saturday. In the call, Heinze said his father, uncle and cousins were among the dead and said the home, "looks like a murder scene."
In the recording, you can hear Heinze yelling that his cousin Michael is still alive, breathing and needs help.
Police say 19-year-old Michael Toler died Sunday at Memorial University Medical Center, making him the eighth victim. Another victim remains in the hospital in critical condition.
Police still haven't released how the victims were killed, a motive in the case or if there are any suspects.
"I am absolutely certain, 100 percent, what happened," said Glynn County police chief Matt Doering. "I am absolutely certain how it happened. The question is who is responsible. Part of that is the motive. What would motivate someone to do this."
Police arrested Heinze on charges of possession of painkillers, marijuana, tampering with evidence and making false statements to police but are not calling him a suspect in the murders.
