CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A group of wounded soldiers from Walter Reed Hospital in Washington D.C. are in Cincinnati this weekend.

Four soldiers, two of which are from the Tri-State, will attend the USO Riverfest Gala on Sunday. They will be honored during the Cincinnati Bell/WEBN Fireworks.

Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, Gen. Peter W. Chiarelli, will also be among the honored guests attending this year's gala. He is a champion of improving soldier care, and has spearheaded innovative private-public partnerships for health promotion and risk reduction in the ranks and for families.

While visiting Cincinnati, Chiarelli will also swear in new soldiers at Sawyer point during Riverfest and attend the annual Rubber Duck Regatta.

Miss America and Indiana native Katie Stam will perform at the Gala.
