SYMMES TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in Symmes Township.
It happened in the parking lot of an AmeriStop convenience store in the 8700 block of Fields Ertel Road around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Police say a male was sitting in the passenger seat of a parked Ford Econoline van when a late model Chevy Suburban operated by another man pulled into the parking space next to the van. The driver of the Suburban then opened fire and fled the scene eastbound on Fields Ertle Road.
The man in the van was struck by flying glass and treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, about 24 to 26 years old with a goatee and short hair. He fled the scene in a green Suburban with gray body modeling on the lower section. The suspect was in the company of a white female, about 28 years old, heavyset, with blonde hair.
