CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton County mother is behind bars after police say she restrained a child so her son could beat him up.
Tiffany Hunter, 26, is charged with assault and unlawful restraint.
According to court documents, Hunter held a 6-year-old boy's wrists and hands down on his bicycle handles while she ordered her 5-year-old son to punch him several times.
It's unclear how badly the 6-year-old was hurt.
Her bond was set at 10 percent of $7,000 and she was ordered to stay away from the 6-year-old.
"I think that we live in a pretty safe neighborhood, so for that happen it scares me for my own child," said neighbor Holly Matson.
Brandon Merritt, a friend of Hunter's, said the boy had beat up her son first.
"She is a good mom and she handles her kids," said Merritt. "When she is gone I baby-sit them and take care of them. We basically have fun."
Other neighbors say giving permission to a child to beat a fellow neighborhood kid and helping him is no way to make any type of fighting stop.
"I just think as a parent, it's your responsibility to teach children to not do that," said Matson.
