MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - Police searched various schools after a bomb threat was called in Wednesday morning.
A short time before 10:30 a.m., the Middletown Police received an anonymous 911 call from a man stating there was a bomb in one of the Middletown City Schools and police only had one hour and hung up. The caller did not specify any particular school.
Officers and detectives went to various schools and consulted with the staff. No suspicious items were located in any of the schools.
As a precaution, officers stayed on the scene at different locations until it was almost noon without any incident.
