MADISONVILLE, OH (FOX9) - Four people were injured in a crash in Madisonville Tuesday morning.
It happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Plainville Road.
Police say Ian Cecil, 19, was operating his Hyundai eastbound on Roe Street when he ran a stop sign at Plainville Road and struck a Chevy Trailblazer driven by Phillip Bird, 58.
The Trailblazer ended up on its side and the Hyundai ended up on its nose.
Both Cecil and Bird were taken to University Hospital Medical Center with serious injuries. In addition, two passengers in Cecil's car, Chris Holloway, 20, and Michael Schoonover, 20, were also taken to University Hospital with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
