It happened at the Frisch's in Batavia on Winemiller Lane.
Police say 56 year old Constance Skidmore, of Sardinia, was walking when a pickup got too close and pinned her between the pickup and an SUV.
The victim was being air-lifted to the hospital when she died.
Police say their preliminary investigation shows the pickup driver lost control and hit the victim when she was putting her grandchild into a car.
