CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Florence man was arrested on Monday after police found him driving with an open bottle of vodka, and he wanted to finish his drink before he went into the back of the cruiser.

James Robinson finished up his last few sips of Smirnoff Vodka before he was arrested and charged with OVI, tampering with evidence and possession of open flask on Monday morning on Ventura Court.

He is out of jail on his own recognizance. He has a jury trial scheduled for Nov. 16.
