FORT WRIGHT, KY (FOX19) - Police have arrested two possible serial burglary suspects.

On Thursday afternoon, an off-duty Fort Wright police officer observed suspicious activity in the 1900 block of Mount Vernon Drive and notified on-duty officers.

Police responded and located two suspects in the area of Oak Hill Court and Mount Vernon, and also discovered there was a burglary at a nearby residence. Daniel L. Skinner, 25, of Edgewood, and Daniel E.  Hoppenjans, 25, of Bellevue, are both charged with burglary second degree.

Police recovered stolen property that is believed to belong to the victims. However, further investigation revealed the two suspects may have committed other burglaries in Fort Mitchell, Edgewood and Boone County.

Police say their method of entry was to break a small basement window and enter the residence, then take cash, jewelry and small electronics.

Anyone with information on these suspects or other possible burglaries should call 859-331-2191.
