Fifth H1N1- related death reported in Northern KY

BOONE COUNTY, KY (FOX19) - The Northern Kentucky Health Department is reporting their fifth death associated with the H1N1 virus on Thursday.

Officials say a Boone County woman in her 30's has died.

36-year-old Lori Hornsby was reported to have had underlying conditions prior to hear death according to information provided to the Health Department.

This is the fifth death reported in the Northern Kentucky area. There was one other death reported in Boone County, one in Pendleton County and two in Kenton County. The Kentucky Department of Health is reporting that there have been 29 deaths associated with the H1N1 virus, not including the one announced today.

The Northern Kentucky health Department will be hosting two vaccination clinics. The first will be held on Saturday, November 21 at the Summit View Middle School in Independence. TYhe second clinic will be held on December 5 at Sherman Elementary in Dry Ridge. Both Clinics will target the high risk groups.
