Source: WWBTDINWIDDIE, VA (WWBT) - Pop star Miley Cyrus' tour bus has crashed on Interstate 85 in Virginia, killing the driver.
Cyrus was not on board the bus at the time of the crash, which happened around 8:30 a.m. Friday morning. There were between 10 and 15 passengers on the bus. One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the bus was traveling in the southbound lanes of I-85 when it ran off the left side of the road and overturned. The bus came to rest on its right side. Those on the bus were able to exit the vehicle through the front windshield.
Those riding on the bus are part of Cyrus' production crew.
According Cyrus’ website, the tour is scheduled to perform in Greensboro, N.C., on Sunday.
