Cincinnati ranked #4 in most charitable

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati is near the top of the list for most charitable cities according to Men's Health Magazine.

In the December issue, 100 major Cities were rated for "Most Charitable". Cincinnati was ranked fourth in the country.

The magazine compiled 2008 data about donations to Goodwill industries International, the salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign , and the Marine's Toys for Tots Foundation to get the rankings.

The city ranked most charitable was Madison, Wisconsin. Yonkers, New York was ranked the least charitable.

Indianapolis, Indiana ranks 21, Louisville, Kentucky ranked 22. Cleveland and Columbus were towards the bottom of the list with 87 for Cleveland and 19 for Columbus.
