Man shot in Independence

INDEPENDENCE, KY (FOX19) - Police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital early Sunday morning.

At 3:00am, Independence Police were called to the 9500 block of Apple Valley Drive for a report of a person shot.

When officers arrived, they fount 31-year-old Leon Marshall suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to University Hospital  by Aircare. His condition is not being released at this time.

So far, there are no suspects or arrests made. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
