ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19)  -- A man died early this morning after a  traffic pursuit leads to a rollover crash in an SUV near the main intersection in Newtown.

At short time before 12:30am, Hamilton County Sheriffs were called to the 8200 block of Bonanza Lane for a report of a domestic situation involving a suicidal person with a knife. That person, 36-year-old Windsor Burton, left the scene  before Deputies arrived in an orange Ford Explorer belonging to the resident on Bonanza Lane.

After Burton left the scene, he struck a mailbox and a parked vehicle in form of a home on the 1600 block of Tonopah Drive. Officials say he failed to stop and continued driving.

He was spotted by a Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy traveling at a high rate of speed  on Eight Mile Road at Clough Pike. The Deputy attempted to pull Burton over after he ran a red light at the intersection, but he refused to stop and a traffic pursuit began. The traffic pursuit reached speeds of 90 mph.

The suspect was traveling near Eight Mile Road and State Route 32 when he lost control of the SUV while going around a curve. The vehicle went off the right side of the road,  the re-entered the roadway, rolling several times and ejecting Windsor Burton. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

AloAlcohold/or drugs  were believed to be a factor in the crash. Burton also had a felony warrant for aggravated armed robbery out of Hamilton County.

Officials continue to investigate this incident.
