
NORTH BEND, OH (FOX19) - One person was air lifted to the hospital after a two car accident in North Bend.
It happened around just before 7 a.m. on U.S. 50 at Shady Lane.
Police say Cathy Kleckner, 50, of Cleves, was attempting to turn southbound onto U.S. 50 from Shady Lane when she was t-boned by a vehicle operated by Jason Bellamy, 28, of Seven Mile, Ohio. Police say Bellamy ran a red light.
Kleckner was flown to University Hospital and is listed in serious condition. Bellamy was taken to by ambulance to the hospital, where he was treated and released.
Police say neither person was wearing a seat belt, and drugs are believed to be a factor in the crash. No charges have been filed at this time.
