LEBANON, OH (FOX19)-- The Ohio State Patrol and FAA are investigating the cause of a small experimental plane crash in Lebanon Saturday morning.
A short time after 9:00pm emergency crews were called to a field along State Route 48 just south of State Route 122 for a report of a small plane crash.
The Ohio State Patrol says that the plane was an experimental Venus 601 that was flown by Kevin Kinney of Cincinnati.
Officials believe that the cause of the accident was equipment failure with the engine.
Luckily, no one was injured in the crash and the FAA was notified.
