Burglary suspects caught in the act

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Two men are behind bars after a burglary in Colerain Township.

Around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, the men were seen fleeing a residence in the 7300 block of Colerain Avenue.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department and Colerain Township Police responded and conducted a search with K-9 units and the sheriff's helicopter.

During the search, on suspect was located on Boleyn Drive and another on Colerain Avenue. Both were taken into custody.

Police say the suspects were in the process of gathering property to steal, but were interrupted before they were able to remove anything.

Michael Mulcahy, 35, of Colerain Township, and Benjamin Bloebaum, 22, of Cincinnati, are both charged with burglary and were taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
