Victim identified in fatal Oakley Car crash

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -- The Cincinnati Police is investigating a fatal accident that occurred Saturday evening.

A short time after 9:00pm, 49-year-old Timothy Ruthman was traveling north on Madison Road. According to police, he failed to stop at a red light and struck another vehicle that was traveling west on Markbreit Avenue.

Ruthman was transported to University Hospital where he was treated and released.

The driver of the other vehicle, 30-year-old Ryan Maley died from his injuries. The passenger, 29-year-old Erin Maley was transported to University Hospital with serious injuries. A juvenile passenger was taken to Children's Hospital with serious injuries.

Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.

So far, no charges have been filed.

Any witnesses to the accident are asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
