BALTIMORE (AP) - Bud Norris pitched six shutout innings, Nelson Cruz notched his career-high 91st RBI during a four-run first, and the Baltimore Orioles beat the Cincinnati Reds 5-4 Tuesday night. Jonathan Schoop homered for the Orioles, who extended their lead in the AL East to a season-high 9 1/2 games.

BALTIMORE (AP) - The Cincinnati Reds have moved right-hander Homer Bailey to the 60-day DL, officially ending his chance to return this season. Bailey has an elbow injury described as a strained right flexor mass tendon. The Reds had initially hoped Bailey would be able to rejoin the rotation this month, but that won't happen.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee offensive tackle Jacob Gilliam will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament Sunday in a 38-7 victory over Utah State. Volunteers coach Butch Jones announced the severity of Gilliam's injury at his Tuesday news conference. Tennessee hosts Arkansas State on Saturday.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Chattanooga will host 2014 NCAA semifinalist Stanford and eight-time national champion Tennessee as part of its 2014-15 women's basketball schedule. The Lady Mocs released a schedule Tuesday that includes a Nov. 26 home game with Tennessee and a Dec. 17 home game with Stanford.
