Coach Frank Vogel is tweaking lineups and making adjustments in case Hill can't pass his concussion tests before tipoff. The Pacers lead the series 3 games to 2.
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Lighting and heavy winds have shut down yesterday's practice for the Indianapolis 500. E.J. Viso posted the fastest lap, reaching 229.537. Practice was called off about 2 ½ hours early because of standing water on the straightaway and in pit road. Practice resumes today.
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Sam Schmidt says he hasn't yet hired a driver for the No. 99 car in the Indianapolis 500. Schmidt Peterson Motorsports already has two drivers - last year's top IndyCar rookie Simon Pageland and rookie Tristan Gautier. Indy qualifying is Saturday and Sunday.
CHICAGO (AP) - The Chicago Blackhawks are looking to put the rival Detroit Red Wings in a 2-0 hole to begin the Western Conference semifinals. Defenseman Duncan Keith and forward Michael Handzus missed practice for the Hawks yesterday, but both are expected to play in today's game.
