TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - A movie starring rapper 50 Cent is still on the schedule at a Toledo movie theater despite a request from police. They say "Get Rich or Die Tryin"' glorifies violence, and police chief Mike Navarre asked the theater chain not to show the film out of concern that it could bring a repeat of last month's unrest in the city.
A riot was sparked by a planned neo-Nazi march, which was eventually canceled. A spokesman for theater owner National Amusements says the company decided not to schedule the movie for any midnight showings, but it's still running regular night screenings and matinees.
The police chief says there will be extra security.
