Family Safe Driving Pledge

It is important for you to establish safe driving expectations with your teen. The Family Safe Driving Pledge (downloadable below) courtesy of Liberty Mutual, is designed to help parents and teens focus on the important issues of safe driving.

By reading, discussing and signing the Pledge, teens acknowledge that as drivers, they are accountable for their actions. Similarly, parents recognize that their actions speak loudly as well, and that they will set proper examples through their own driving behaviors.

For the Family Safe Driving Pledge to be effective, it is important that parents and teens jointly discuss, and mutually agree upon, expected behaviors and the consequences if those behaviors are not upheld.
