Frank Marzullo - Cincinnati News, FOX19-WXIX TV

Frank Marzullo

Right off the top, I am from the suburbs of Cleveland, and I am staying neutral on the Bengals or Browns question. I would rather go the Buckeye route and say Go Bucks!

You can catch me every weekday morning forecasting the Tri-States weather on the FOX19 Morning News. When I tell people I wake up at 2:45am in order to be on the air by 4:30am they often ask me, am I crazy? However, I am a morning person I want make sure that our community knows what to expect before stepping out the front door. Plus when your co-workers are your friends well that makes all the difference in the world. I joined the FOX19 First Weather Team in August 2007 after spending 7 years forecasting Lake Effect snow in Northeast, Ohio. It's amazing how different the weather can be from one corner of the state to the other, in fact I feel like I moved to the "tropics." I am not a stranger to the Queen City, my brother attended UC and I have close relatives just over the river in Florence.

Before coming to FOX19 I spent almost 7 years working at WFMJ the NBC station in Youngstown, Ohio. I was the weekday morning and noon weather forecaster. While in Youngstown we were honored with the Ohio Associated Press Award for Outstanding Weather Operation two years in a row. I also spent a year forecasting for WTAP the NBC station in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Actually I just realized my entire career has taken place in cities that basically lay on Ohio's borders. While in college I also worked behind the camera at stations in Huntington, West Virginia and Cleveland.

I graduated from Youngstown State University and I have completed course work in meteorology from Mississippi State University. I am a member of the National Weather Association.

I come from an Italian family and I have two younger brothers so I guess that makes me the responsible older brother. I am a huge fan of good food and I already discovered some of the Tri-States tasty restaurants so please let me know your favorites so I can try them out. I love spending time outdoors and traveling. I am big fan of Maine right now; if you are looking for someplace different to vacation you have to check it out.

I am looking forward to getting involved with Cincinnati's charitable organizations. I am a big supporter of local food banks efforts to help feed those who need an extra hand. I also enjoy educating school kids about the weather. The FOX19 First Weather Team would love to come to your child's school to give them a weather lesson so please have their teachers contact us. I am looking forward to meeting you as I make my home here in Cincinnati. If you have a weather question or just want to say hi please feel free to stop me on the street or drop me an e-mail at Thanks for making FOX19 your choice for local news, weather, and sports.
