Police Set Up Sex Sting In Mount Airy Forest

(CINCINNATI) -- A Hamilton County corrections officer was picked up in a local sex sting in the middle of the afternoon.

Police say 36-year-old Raymond Hilvert fondled an undercover officer on a foot bridge in Mount Airy forest around 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

The arrest report says Hilvert approached the officer and struck up a non-sexual conversation, but then launched into some inappropriate touching.

Hilvert is now charged with sexual imposition, a misdemeanor that can carry up to 60 days in jail. He was bonded out of jail.

The sheriff's department says Hilvert's been with the department since 1992.

FOX19's Meghan Mongillo reports that men are propositioning other men for sex in the Mount Airy forest, and police say that's why a sting was set up.

In two weeks there's been more then a dozen arrests.
