Any isolated showers and thunder will end this evening and the overnight hours will become mostly clear. Low temps by morning will fall into the mid 60s. Expect sunny skies and warmer temperatures for the next couple of days before BIG changes arrive by mid-week. Sunday we will see high temps in the upper 80s with yet another very humid air mass across the region. On "Eclipse Monday" temps will settle in near 90° and the afternoon hours promise to be rather uncomfortable for your eclipse viewing pleasure. Tuesday will start off on a quiet note, but a strong cold front will approach during the afternoon and evening with showers and thunderstorms…some could be strong to severe. By Wednesday a much cooler air mass will be across the tri-state, and it will remain into the upcoming weekend with high temps in the upper 70s to 80° under sunny to partly cloudy skies.
