About the Boys & Girls Clubs - Visit
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati believes every young person has the capability and potential to succeed, to achieve greatness and to soar. We believe Boys & Girls Clubs empower young people, provide a nurturing environment and are a fun place for kids to be.
Celebrating 72 years! Since 1939, the vision of the Boys & Girls Clubs has grown and changed with the needs of our children and so will the dynamics of our programs and services. Through our nine Clubs, 12,000 youth in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky are provided a safe and positive place to learn and grow.
Boys & Girls Clubs provide a positive, safe place for children ages 6-18 to spend their non-school hours surrounded by caring adults and engaged in enriching, age appropriate youth development activities. Boys & Girls Clubs get kids off the streets during the most dangerous time of the day, between 3 - 8 PM, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. Club Members have access to an array of programs including: Character and Leadership Development; Education and Career Development; Health and Life Skills; the Arts and Cultural Enrichment; and Sports, Fitness and Nutrition. Annual membership is FREE* and includes a daily, hot and nutritious meal.
Our Mission
To create hope, opportunity and foster civic engagement by enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, where they need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Our goal is for each Boys & Girls Club Member to have:

About Inner City Youth Opportunities - Visit
Welcome to Inner City Youth Opportunities
Inner City Youth Opportunities provides a safe and structured environment for inner city children (grades K-6) of low-income families after school and during the summer. Since 1993, thousands of children have benefited from the summer tennis camps, afterschool homework assistance and academic tutoring and field trips provided by ICYO and many community sponsorships.
The grant from the Charles H. Dater Foundation will continue to support these programs so that many life skills may be taught through the sport of tennis; the children's academic skills will be improved in all basic areas of reading, writing, math and computer and the children will continue to see a world beyond their neighborhoods through ICYO field trips, summer week long YMCA camp and community events.
