Hot and humid weather arrives today and many of those home thermometers will make it to 90º. There are two flies in the ointment that could stop us from getting to 90º. The first is morning fog. If it is too thick @CVG or lasts too long we will waste a bit of morning sunshine. Then blow off cloud cover from the thunderstorms out west may give us a high, thin veil which could be just thick enough to stop our assault on 90º. The humidity will be moderate and you will feel it but it will not be "Dog Days" humid. In other words in New Orleans today would be a pleasant summer day. Thunderstorms will pop up Tuesday.
