Despite being a Michigan wolverine, I'm excited to call Ohio home! Prior to joining the Fox 19 news team in 2009, I worked at WILX, the NBC affiliate in Lansing, Michigan reporting on everything from the downfall of the auto industry to Archbishop Desmond Tutu's visit to Michigan State University. While in Lansing, I also received an honorable mention from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters for a story on the growing number of young people resorting to plasma and egg donation for financial gain.

My college summer internship at NBC 5 in Chicago was a defining moment that ignited my passion for journalism, since then I've been anxious to hit the ground running. After graduating from University of Michigan with a double major in Communications and Spanish, I went on to receive my Master's in Journalism from  Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. During my graduate studies I reported as a Washington correspondent for various client stations across the country, I'm also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.

I'm originally from the suburbs of Chicago and while I love the Windy City, I'm looking forward to a somewhat milder winter in Cincinnati. During my free time you can catch me playing golf, traveling, watching college football or surrounding myself with family and friends. I'll be covering the latest news from Butler County at Fox 19, if you have any story ideas I'd love to hear them, just e-mail me at tteasley@fox19.com.
