Serial robber behind bars in Butler County

BUTLER COUNTY, OH (FOX19)-- Police make an arrest  after a man is accused of robbing numerous banks and stores  throughout the Tri-State.

Union Township Police have arrested Scott Humes after he was identified in robbing the Huntington and PNC banks in Union Township. Police also say that Humes was also involved in a robbery at Taco Bell where an employee was seriously injured when they were attacked with a knife.

Scott Humes has been charged with 11 robberies over a ten month period. Humes is currently being held at the Butler County jail for a domestic violence charge in Butler County.

Police that Arthur Cacaro has also been arrested in this case. Cacaro is suspected to be the get-away driver for the robberies. He is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
