UPDATE: Bond set for suspect in Forest Park murder

FOREST PARK, OH (FOX19) - The suspect in a deadly Forest Park shooting was arraigned on Friday.

Anthony Irby, 18, is accused of killing Devona Daniels, 30. His bond was set at $500,000.

Police responded to a report of a woman shot in the stomach just after 1 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in the 11000 block of Quailwood Court.

Upon arrival, emergency crews tried to save Daniels, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found Irby outside of the home. He was taken into custody.

Investigators discovered that Irby is under the care of the Hamilton County Board of Mental Retardation. He was placed in the apartment under the care of Focus on Independence, LLC a contracted agency.

The victim was a care-giver to Anthony Irby.

Irby faces one count of murder.
