UPDATE: Arrest made in Walgreen's robbery

BURLINGTON, KY (FOX19) -

UPDATE: Police have arrested Katherine Ann Chasteen, 25, of Covington.

Chasteen was arrested in Covington just after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning after officers acted on a Crimestoppers tip.

She is charged with robbery and terroristic threatening.

PREVIOUSLY:

Police are trying to find a woman who tried to rob the Walgreen's in Burlington by saying she had a bomb.

Investigators say the woman was carrying a brief case, and handed the pharmacist a note demanding drugs.

She left the case and ran out, and reportedly took off in a white van. The bomb squad was called, but firefighters confirmed there was no bomb.

The woman is described as a white female, mid 20's to early 30's, approximately 5'2", 175-200 pounds, dark brown curly hair pulled back in a pony tail, large sunglasses wearing a dark blue zip up sweat shirt.

Anyone with information as to the identity of the perpetrator is urged to call the Boone County Sheriff's Department at (859) 334-2175 or Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
