COLLEGE HILL, OH (FOX19) - Police are looking into why someone shot at an undercover FBI agent in College Hill on Wednesday.
It happened around 5 p.m. on Pasedena Drive. Local FBI agent Mike Brooks says a group of suspects drove up to an unmarked car where an agent was sitting, and shot at him.
The agent wasn't hit, but he did suffer cuts from broken glass.
FBI director Robert Mueller will be in Cincinnati on Thursday to answer questions about the incident.
Detectives tell FOX19 witnesses believe the car involved in this shooting was a silver Ford Contour or Dodge Neon.
During this course of their investigation, police kept most of Pasadena Street closed off, presenting a big problem for people who live there.
"They said a couple of hours. You know I'm out here, my dogs stuck inside, probably going crazy. He's nothing but a puppy. I would like to see what's going on, but apparently that's not going to happen," said Andrew Rice, who lives on the street.
Cincinnati Police say they'll be handling the majority of this investigation. Investigators have not said how many rounds were fired during the shooting, what type of gun the shooter used or if the shooter knew the target was a federal agent. Officials have also not said what the FBI agent was doing.
