Former UC, NBA star pleads guilty to drug charges

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A former UC and NBA basketball star has pled guilty to drug charges.

Corie Blount pled guilty on Wednesday to two counts of possession of marijuana. He faces up to 10 years in prison when he's sentenced on May 13.

Blount was a member of the 1992 Final Four team at UC. He also played for various NBA teams.

He was arrested in December on three counts of possession of marijuana after a package containing 11 pounds of marijuana was intercepted by police on its way to Blount's Liberty Township home. Officals then found two more packages at his home.
