Four indicted for Cold Spring murder

COLD SPRINGS, KY (FOX19)-- The Kenton County Prosecutor's office is seeking the death penalty for four people who were involved in the robbery and killing of a man in Cold Springs.

27-year-old Marion Parker (aka Timmy Parker)  is Charged with Murder and complicity in Robbery and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

34-year-old Mary Barterer, 24-year-old Patrick Cook, and 19-year-old Samantha Mayes face complicity to commit Murder, Robbery, and Tampering with Evidence.

The four could face 20 to 50 years to life in prison with parole or 25 year to life without parole or the death penalty.The Robbery charge carries a 10 to 20 year sentence and Tampering with evidence can carry a 1 to 5 year sentence.

Police say they robbed 28-year-old Shawn Davis killed him and burned his body under a bridge on Dodsworth Lane in January.

Marion Parker faces another murder charge after officials say he killed fellow inmate Isaac Jackson in the Kenton County Jail.
